کامپوزیت مسلح کننده خاک geo FRP Composite Low tensile strength, high strain and creep of geosynthetics materials are among the main problems of using them for reinforcing the soil. Fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) due to its unique capabilities and features is potentially an appropriate material for reinforcing soil. Despite having great features, this material has a low interaction angle with the soil and has challenged its replacement capability as a reinforcement factor in the soil. In the present study, given the advantages and disadvantages of geogrids and FRPs as reinforcement element, a novel reinforced composite (geo-FRP) was proposed with high-quality features. Direct shear and pull-out tests were used to determine and compare the interface properties of three types of reinforcements including geogrid, uniaxial carbon FRP, and the proposed geo-FRP composite with the soil. In the end, a tension test was performed to determine their tensile properties of the reinforcements. Based on the results, the suggested geo-FRP composite has higher tensile strength and friction angle in comparison to geogrid and uniaxial carbon fabric and could be considered to be applicable and appropriate as reinforcement مشاهده
