Biography
I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Graduate University of Advanced Technology, Kerman, Iran. I have completed my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) at Amirkabir University of Technology, a highly accredited university in Iran (GPA: 17.67/20). Prior to that, I completed my M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Energy and Power Systems) at Shiraz University of Technology (GPA: 19.20/20). I am a highly motivated researcher with more than 10 years of remarkable experience in power engineering research projects resulting in more than 30 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and total citations of 1000 with the h-index of 15 in Google Scholar. I also have been serving as peer reviewer for some scientific journals such as IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Electric Power Components and Systems, and etc.
Research Interests
My research interests include power system modelling and analysis, application of optimization methods to power system studies, machine learning, artificial intelligence, analysis of power system transients, lightning and switching studies, techno-economic condition monitoring of power transformers, power transformer health assessment and fault diagnosis, high voltage engineering, probabilistic analysis of power systems, distribution network operation, micro grids, smart grids, renewable energy sources, distributed generation, energy management.
